MEA CULPA
Blogging has been, uh, light lately, even by my standards. Sorry. I recently quit my job, leaving me with fairly limited internet access for the next week or so. Once I get re-connected to the digital world (soon), I'll be back to pester all of you with more regularity.

"MACHO MAN" RANDY SAVAGE TO RELEASE RAP ALBUM.
If I could buy stock in something like "I will find this album in the 99-cent bin at Best Buy in one year," I would do it in a minute.

BLOGROLL UPDATE
I encourage ya'll to check out Hugo Schwyzer's blog, which I discovered via Camassia. It's quite interesting; I'll just say that Hugo's stuff goes a long way towards increasing the size of the way-too-small "consistent-life-ethic/Mennonite/marathon runner/Chinchilla owner" blogger demographic. Good stuff.
COMIC BOOK ARTIST HAS STROKE OF G
A few thoughts:
1. Why didn't I think of this?
2. Why haven't I heard of this?
3. And why, oh why, didn't I know that this was being screened IN BROOKLYN this past weekend?
After serious thought, I've decided that I think overdubbing a movie, television show, commercial, etc., with silly dialogue is just one of the funniest things you can do, ever. (See for example my obsession with these GI Joe short films, which were pretty much all I could think about for months.) Other things I think are pretty much always funny include: monkeys, pirates, robots, ninjas, any combination of the previous four items, and people speaking with any kind of an accent, especially an Irish, Scottish, German, or French one. Also, the Comic Book Store Guy from the Simpsons is also always funny.
ALSO: TREACHERY AT CLOWN HALL OF FAME
Of course, the Clown Hall of Fame is in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Where else would it be?

Oh, lordy. I'm a Speak and Spell.

You're a Speak & Spell!! You nerd, you. Just
because you were disguised as a toy doesn't

What childhood toy from the 80s are you?

MADDUX LEAVES GAME EARLY WITH PAIN IN SIDE
In other news, Cubs obtain a player named "Gookie"; apparently Chone Figgins or Coco Crisp were unavailable.
In other, other news, apparently Mark Prior has gotten sick of being a Lugnut and is ready to start for our team. Hold your breath.
QUERY
Is it at all funny that I get Rick Steves and Rick James confused? (Hmm...Rick Steves apparently supports the legalization of marijuana...maybe they're not all that different.)
