Yo yo yo yo yo. Yesterday was exhausting--tired and cranky pretty much most of the day. I came home and took a stab at being sociable and such, but I was just too tired. I was in bed by 9.30.
I keep flirting with the idea of having "Sleep Week" or something. A solid week where I would commit to getting 9 hours of sleep every night, just so I could see what it's like. I'm not sure I even know. The last sustained period of several months where I can remember really waking up in the morning and not being tired is the summer after my sophomore year of high school. Sheesh. I think part of my problem is that I don't really have any idea of what it feels like to get "enough" sleep; the real solution to feeling tired might be to get a little more sleep each night rather than 12 hours of sleep on a Saturday. (Hello and welcome to basic life skills. your host will be Commander Yourstruly.)
It just drives me ga-ga, that feeling of waking up in the morning and thinking, "No! NO! I must have more than this!" Garghgh.

Relatives Sue 9/11 Fund Chief
I think something like this was bound to happen eventually. (Although a statement like that would have been more convincing before a suit like this was filed, natch.
If the Cantor people win this lawsuit, it'll really take the teeth out of Feinberg's position. The decision he made--to cap the income-based part of the award at the 99th percentile of American incomes--was a ballsy, controversial one, but I think it was the right one to make. It'll be oh-so-interesting to see what happens.

Christianity Today Magazine - Weblog: InterVarsity Tactics Vary Widely In Countering Opposition
Would this sort of thing happen to a Jewish group? No. Certainly not.
